Fresh Color - Nightdreams (1985)

Rather than an italo-disco single, I thought I'd post up an entire LP that is actually quite good all the way through. This band is from Switzerland and if you look for their photo, you'll notice one member looks quite a bit like Martin Gore did at the time. I guess Depeche Mode look-a-likes aren't that much of a rarity. -- In any case, as I said before there are quite a few nice tracks on this one. "Disco Future" is a fairly well-known single, and another of my favorites "Sing With Me Tonight" should sit well with you. Enjoy!

Don't Shoot Me

I think Italo disco borrowed elements from traditional disco music, yet was more electronic. The genre made strong usage of drum machines and synthesizers, giving it an almost spacey and futuristic style, and combined elements of pop music with melancholy melodies, weird sounds and unorthodox production techniques
