Another super scarce tape from Belgium. The first in a series of... four, I think. Lots of recognizable names here, providing a good range of sounds. Everything from minimal synth, coldwave, experimental, and even one brief moment of punk/hardcore (not exactly my cup of tea). Great shows from Vita Noctis, Palais Des Bauzards, Unovidual, Absolute Body Control, The Misz, and Inflammable Liquid. Enjoy!

Various Artists - 13 (Lively Art) (1990)

Great compilation LP here, nice mix of artists and styles. Teepee (what an unfortunate name) starts things off with a surprisingly great track, it's a shame we never heard more from this band. What follows is a group of fantastic bands that many of you are already familiar with, I'm sure. The Asylum Party track was exclusive to this release (until being re-released in 2006) and is, in my opinion, one of their best. Also featured here is a 5 minute version of Little Nemo's classic "City Lights", always a fine choice. Be sure to catch the Collection d'Arnell Andrea track... hauntingly beautiful darkwave. Enjoy!

This is a rip that I assume a few of you have been waiting to surface. A great Belgian collection of artists, including Bene Gesserit and Design. This version of Design's "Premonition" is exclusive to this release, and slightly different to their recently released 7" version (which is worth buying, I might add, get it here). Here we have a nice and rather sought after compilation from Italy on Mask records. If you liked Lisfrank (below), this contains another of their tracks, and quite a few other tasty morsels. I have to apologize in advance as this copy has some skips/hops on the Tanzen's Fields track, but everything else should be good. If anyone out there has a clean copy of that track, please share it!
