Hanover Fist - Razor Garden (1986)

Here we have my favorite of the 4 singles released by this US synthpop band. This little nugget is ultra dark and club-ready, sure to get a few bodies moving on the dance floor. I'd have posted their other releases, but I'm not nearly as fond of them. Feel free to request, though. Anyway, enjoy!

Track List:

A1 - Razor Garden (12") (8:06)
B1 - Razor Garden (7") (3:50)
B2 - Razor Garden (Double Stubble) (3:14)

  3. Isn't that the name of the guy on the 'Heavy Metal' movie? Iam sure it must have another reference meaning ;)

  5. Great to see some Love for these tracks!!

When I came up with "Hanover Fist" it was simply a play on words.
Only afterward that I learned of the Heavy Metal character.
Jimmy Harry has gone on to write for Rupaul, and more currently Pink "Funhouse" "Sober"
Myself Charlie Erickson wrote the theme song to MST 3k and now I travel performing original house music as "Chuck Love"

  9. You know early synthpop pioneers like Ultravox and the Human League, largely using monophonic synthesizers, produced music with a simple and austere sound
